The Acterna 2310 communications analyzer is a hand held, easy to use test set designed to test signal rates from DS0 to OC-48c. Quick, intuitive, and weighing only five pounds. Multiservice testing capabilities including ATM, GR-303, ISDN, signaling, voice frequency (VF), digital data services (DDS) and DS3/DS1 jitter. Optional SDH (2416) and 10-GBit (2510) service modules.

The Acterna 224 T-Berd is a heavier, older style piece of testgear that has been around for a long time. I’ve used the 224 T-Berd for many years and still like it the best for general turn-up testing and treoubleshooting on T1′s. They are a ruggedly built, easy to use meter.
